The IPI Battery for Leadership Potential
The IPI Battery for Leadership Potential incorporates the traits measured in the IPI for Interpersonal Skills as well as assessing the dynamics of interpersonal influence in power situations, and the manner in which the candidate handles relationships with others in the workplace.
Ability to Work With People
Measures the candidate's desire for daily people contact on-the-job. A person who scores in the average range prefers a job with an equal mix of people contact and administrative work.
Emotional Stability
Measures a person's emotional stability, responsibility and resistance to stress. Groups constituted of people of high average stability or more generally make strong teams, trusting one another, and free from manifestations of panic and low morale.
Social – reflects the degree of involvement with others.
A high score indicates a preference for working with people. They are most comfortable in settings that allow them to be of service and interact with others. A low score indicates an individual who prefers to work alone and does not relish working on committees.
Competitive – reflects the degree of selfassurance and determination.
Candidates with high scores are likely to be seen by others as ambitious and goal-oriented. Low scores suggest an individual who may be too emotional, and may have difficulty finishing routine jobs. Structured – reflects a preference for welldefined activities and unambiguous job requirements.
